Six bottles, six cuvées: my whole range in one box. Two whites: Phosphore, Muscat and Carignan Blanc pressed slowly and aged on its lees, and Carpe, which rests eleven months on its lees in an egg-shaped concrete tank. Four reds, from the bright, infused Ultra Violet 2023 to the old-vine Carignan of Franc Tireur. I've added a bottle of Ultra Violet 2020, so you can taste the same Syrah with a few more years behind it.

My vines grow between 350 and 530 metres, surrounded by garrigue, in the hills of the Roussillon. I've farmed them organically since I started in 2006. Every wine ferments with its own yeasts and is bottled with no added sulphites.

Certifications: Organic | 6 x 75 cl bottle

Phosphore: each grape picked at its own ripeness, slow direct pressing, native yeasts, 9 months on the lees in stainless steel, light filtration, no added sulphites. Carpe: three grapes picked separately, slow direct pressing, native yeasts, 11 months on the lees in an egg-shaped concrete tank, very light filtration, no added sulphites.

Veine 2021: Syrah and Grenache picked separately at the end of September, destemmed, fermented separately with a very gentle extraction, then blended and aged 11 months in concrete, stainless steel and stoneware amphora. No added sulphites.

Franc Tireur: the estate's oldest Carignan vines, destemmed, native yeasts, 12 days of skin maceration without chasing tannin, 14 months in a conical concrete tank, light filtration, no added sulphites.

Ultra Violet 2023: Syrah and Carignan from a single plot at 530 m on granite sand, destemmed and fermented separately with 8 and 10 days of gentle skin maceration (an infusion, not an extraction of tannins), blended at the end of fermentation, then 11 months in concrete, stainless steel and amphora. Ultra Violet 2020: a gentle three-week skin maceration, native yeasts, 10 months in concrete, no added sulphites.

Meet France Crispeels :

The emergence of an alternative movement in viticulture and oenology during the 2000s introduced a gentler, more sustainable approach to vineyard management and winemaking.

With this in mind, I've focused my work on organic farming principles from the very beginning, while also incorporating biodynamic practices. I was also an early adopter of soil-conserving farming practices—such as sowing cover crops and choosing a vineyard site with a preserved natural environment...

I'm also pursuing a project to integrate agroforestry into my vineyards as a means of crop diversification and to significantly boost biodiversity and enhance the landscape.
