Domaine Pascal Treichler 🇩🇪

The Impact:

⛰️ Scale: 2.5-hectare plot of steeply sloped vineyards and orchards in the sun-drenched Badische Bergstraße region of Germany.

🤝 Human Impact: A true micro-domaine led and completely hand-farmed by former brewer Pascal Treichler.

🌱 Philosophy: Strictly "0/0" minimum-intervention winemaking. Everything is done by hand—grapes are foot-trodden, traditional basket-pressed, and spontaneously fermented with zero added sulphites, fining, or filtration.

🌳 Biodiversity: Pascal operates entirely tractor-free to protect the soil structure. He treats the land as a living ecosystem by utilising compost teas, wild plant infusions, and shoot-braiding techniques to promote vine health and natural acidity.

The Story

I've started in 2021 with my first vintage. Before I created Ciders, which always has been natural, so it was
common sense to make the wine natural as well!
I was always fascinated by the magic of nature, so I want to bring this into my bottles.

Philosophy

00 wines, I don't like to spray organic, so I wanted to stop in 2025.
Now in 2026 I only spray probiotic,
Some vineyards nothing at all.
I love the natural way of farming. I implement agroforestry and permaculture elements into my farming.
