Meet Paola PONSICH et Florian BUSCH :

Working the land organically and biodynamically has always been an obvious choice for us. From the very beginning, we adopted cultivation practices that promote soil life and biodiversity. We maintain "spontaneous" grass cover for much of the year, adjusted according to water availability. Certain plots are sown with green manure to ensure healthy ground cover, provide organic matter (such as composted cow manure), and enhance soil life and the presence of beneficial insects. Our interventions are always guided by direct observation and specific needs.

To strengthen our vines, we apply compost, biodynamic preparations, and plant-based infusions (horsetail, nettle, etc.) or hydrosols (bay laurel).
Scattered throughout the estate, we also co-plant various fruit trees—ranging from goji berries and Provence jujubes to Roussillon apricots—alongside drought-resistant aromatic plants.

Finally, our harvests are carried out entirely by hand, allowing us to combine positive human energy with a deep respect for living organisms, ensuring a precise selection of maturity that captures the natural expression of the terroir.

Nicely presented selection that offered a good variety of flavours, each of which were strong without overpowering. The consistency of appearance from each pour notable. I favoured the reds over the others.

Thanks Andrew, this is a lovely write-up.
'Strong without overpowering' is Flo and Paola's style in a nutshell, and we'll pass that on to them.
If the reds won you over, Pointe du Jour (Terrasses du Larzac) and Heureux qui comme (mostly Carignan) are the bigger, deeper bottles from the estate.
Let it Flow is the lighter Grenache you can serve slightly chilled.
Which red was your favourite?

Absolutely stunning wines for the price. All have individuality. 2025 Petite Nymph Rosé Delicate red fruits, citrus and floral notes. Beautiful texture on the palate and a dream pairing for cheese.
🥭 2023 Lou Bragalou Blanc Mango, lime, quince and honeysuckle. Rich, full-bodied and incredibly expressive, with a stunning quince and lime finish.
🧡 2022 Pierre qui Rolle Orange Wine Subtle, elegant and refreshingly restrained. Citrus, marmalade, pear, florals and just a touch of tropical fruit, with very gentle tannins.
❄️ 2024 Let It Flow The perfect chillable red. Violets, blackberry, herbs, spice and a hint of liquorice. Juicy, fresh and seriously drinkable.
🌺 2022 Heureux comme Carignan A floral explosion of violets backed by cinnamon, raspberry, blackberry and black pepper. Round, rich and powerful with powdery tannins and a punchy finish.
🍇 2022 Pointe du Jour, Terrasses du Larzac The serious one. Black fruits, cherry, plum, spice and leather. Still a baby, but packed with structure, depth and a long, lingering finish.
⭐ The verdict? Every single wine impressed me.

Nick, these tasting notes are better than ours!
Mango and quince on the Lou Bragalou is spot on.
We'll send this straight to Flo and Paola, because hearing this from the people actually drinking the wine means a lot to them.
Did the Pierre qui Rolle convert you to orange wine, or were you already a fan? 🍇
