This case brings together six wines from Domaine Lachat, in the heart of the Beaujolais Régnié appellation — organic, handpicked, and made with low-intervention, spontaneous fermentation.

From the structured depth of Les trois copains to the bright, easy-drinking Rookie wines and the refreshingly playful Pourquoi-Pas co-ferment, each bottle tells a different side of the domaine's winemaking. A curated journey through one grower's take on Beaujolais.

All of our organic grapes are handpicked.

We use low-intervention vinification, with spontaneous fermentation from indigenous yeast.

All of our wines are unfiltered, with only a small amount of sulphur added before bottling.

Agroforestry has played a role in the vitality of our land as we have planted many different types of fruit trees around the property to encourage biodiversity.
Our vineyard parcels fall within the Beaujolais Cru, Régnié, 350-400 meters above sea level. The old vines, granite soils and biodiversity express themselves within our wines.
We strive to create wines that show both the character of the terroir as well as reflect the vintage in which they were produced. After the grapes are handpicked, semi-carbonic maceration is applied.
Spontaneous fermentation is done with indigenous yeast. We use different duration of maceration for our different cuvées.
During the fermentation process we apply minimum interventions. A minimum amount of sulphur is used before bottling.
