L'histoire

We're a winemaking couple who settled in Anjou in 2019. We met while studying viticulture and oenology, and we've been growing vines and making wine together ever since. Away from the vineyard, we're also passionate about music, which is why you'll find so many musical nods in the names of our cuvées.

Philosophie

We try to make the wines we want to drink. That starts with healthy grapes, living soils, natural fermentations and as little intervention as possible in the cellar.

Every vintage is different, and we'd rather guide it than force it into a set mould. We use sulphites sparingly, or not at all when conditions allow.

Our goal isn't to make perfect wines. We want sincere, generous, living wines that can tell the story of a year, a place and the people who made them.

Le vignoble : Les Vignes de Yavanna

In Saint-Georges-sur-Layon, in the heart of Anjou, we farm 4.8 hectares of vines organically. Chenin, Cabernet Franc, Grolleau Noir and Grolleau Gris make up most of our vineyard.

In the vines, we try to work with the living world rather than against it. For part of the year, a small flock of Ouessant sheep helps us manage the grass between the rows, alongside our own work in the parcels.

In the cellar, we keep interventions to a minimum: natural fermentations, little or no added sulphites depending on the cuvée, and a lot of trust in the grapes and the vintage. Above all, we want to make wines that are alive, generous and easy to drink, and that reflect where they come from as much as how we work.

Wines we love making, but most of all, love drinking.
