Pourquoi-Pas Blouge wine from Domaine Lachat, Beaujolais

Hi friend,

Ever heard of blouge? It's the wine taking over Paris right now — a chilled co-ferment of red and white grapes, somewhere between a serious rosé and a light red. Genuinely hard to find in Britain.

One of our members, Jess, wrote to us:

“My sister lives in the Netherlands and one of her friends is a sommelier. He brought this wine to a drinks party and I've been on the hunt for it ever since.”

Anne, our winemaker in Beaujolais, makes hers from Gamay and Chardonnay grown side by side on her plot in Régnié — handpicked, wild-fermented, barely any sulphites.

Try Anne's blouge on its own, Pourquoi-Pas →, or get the 6-bottle case → — it includes a bottle of the blouge itself, and every wine in it is absolutely delicious.
