{"title":"Julie \u0026 Charles, Les Vignes de Yavanna","description":"\u003cp\u003eLes Vignes de Yavanna is a small organic estate in Saint-Georges-sur-Layon, in the heart of Anjou, run by Julie and Charles, a winemaking couple who met while studying viticulture and oenology and settled here in 2019.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAcross 4.8 hectares of Chenin, Cabernet Franc, Grolleau Noir and Grolleau Gris, they work with the living world rather than against it, with a small flock of Ouessant sheep helping to manage the grass between the rows for part of the year.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn the cellar, interventions are kept to a minimum: natural fermentations and little or no added sulphites, for wines that are alive, generous and easy to drink.
